Dorothy Farmer

Dorothy Farmer, 81 of Logan, WV, departed this life on October 24, 2021 at St. Mary's Medical Center, Huntington, WV.

She was born August 11, 1940 in Earling, WV the daughter of the late Charles & Violet Belcher.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Harold Farmer Sr, one son, Floyd Farmer, three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, two sisters and four brothers.

Dorothy enjoyed spending time with her kids and her grandchildren.

Those left to cherish her memory include four daughters, Gladys (Rex) Carlson of LaPorte, Ind, Mary Mullins of Peach Creek, Loretta (Dan) Sekula of Union Mills, Ind and Tanya Farmer of Logan; four sons, Leonard (Karen) Farmer of Glasglow, KY, James Wesley Farmer of Pigeon Roost, WV, Harold (Bobbie) Farmer Jr of Union Mills, Ind and Roger (Angie) Farmer of Logan; twenty six grandchildren; forty-four great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and two brothers, Herman (Madeline) Belcher and Thurman (Deedle) Belcher.

Services will be held at 1:00pm, Monday, November 1, 2021 at Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Scottie Watkins officiating. Burial will follow at the Guyan Memorial Gardens.

Friends may call Sunday, October 31, 2021 from 6:00pm until 9:00pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Michael Mullins, Cameron Farmer, Montana Farmer, Casey Newsome, Devin Robinson, and Levi Robinson.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dakota Farmer and Shane Thatcher.

Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
