Donald Rakes Obituary

Donald A. Rakes, 57, of Ranger, WV, departed this life on September 20, 2020 at his residence.

He was born September 7, 1963 in West Hamlin, WV, the son of the late Okey and Mavis L. Rakes.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Donald Rakes Jr., one sister, Lora Burton and two brothers, David and Paul Douglas Rakes.

Donald enjoyed fishing, camping, boating, and 4wheeling.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, LeeAnne Rakes; daughter, Sierra Rakes; son, Samuel Rakes; step-daughters, Kristen Kipferl and Jamie Kipferl; sisters, Joyce Cook and Kathy Scott (Larry Dankmer); brothers, Danny Rakes (Carol) and Eddie Rakes (Shella).
