Denny Monroe Williamson Obituary

Denny Monroe Williamson, 80 of Ranger, WV, departed this life on March 25, 2025, at his residence.


He was born May 1, 1944, in Harts, WV the son of the late Rush and Inez (Workman) Williamson.


In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Albert and Polly Williamson and Monroe and Laura Workman; his in-laws, Frank and Dona Toppins; and two sons, Denny Franklin Williamson and Brian Shane Williamson.


Denny enjoyed hunting, working on cars, and visiting friends and family.


Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Dottie Marie Williamson; one daughter, Rishea (Travis) Hager-Dalton; one son, Steven (Laura) Willaimson; two sisters, Molly Ramey and Sheila Kay Burns; seven grandchildren, Kimberly (Michael) Rakes, Cody Williamson, Laura Kay (Andy) McGrady, David (Mariah) Hager, Madyson (Bobby) Stacy, Braxton Williamson, and Tannis Williamson (Jacob Smith); seven great-grandchildren, Liam Rakes, Sawyer Rakes, Jensen McGrady, Dawson Hager, Weston Hager, Hendrix “Pickle” Hager, and Kaylnn Hager; and a host of family and friends.


Burial at Toppins Family Cemetery, Kiahs Creek, WV at a later date.


Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
