Denny Attu Hensley

Denny Attu Hensley, 66, of Logan, WV, departed this life on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, KY 

Denny was born November 21, 1954 in Logan, WV, the son of the late Rush Hensley and Vivian Lambert Hensley. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Koblenz Hensley, David Lambert, Burns Hensley and Robert Hensley. 

Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Miranda (Preston) Smith; two sons, Jeremiah (Sarah) Adkins and Jacob (Brittani) Adkins; one sister, Brenda (Norman) Dingess; one brother, Lawrence (Vanna) Hensley; and thirteen grandchildren, Braydon Adkins, Tyler Adkins, Liberty Hill, Gracie Maynard, Arianna Adkins, James Adkins, Lakin Adkins, Jayson Adkins, Jasmyn Adkins, Kensley Adkins, Ryan Smith, Cheyenne Smith and Oliver Smith. 

Services will be held at 3:00pm, Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Freeman Funeral Home with John Godby officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens, Old Logan Rd, WV. 

Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 from 2:00pm – 3:00pm at the funeral home. 

Pallbearers will be family and friends. 

Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
