Delphia "Della" Kemp

Delphia “Della” Kemp, 80 of Dingess, WV, departed this life on March 21, 2020 at Trinity Health Care in Henlawson, WV.

She was born December 21, 1939 in Twelve Pole, WV the daughter of the late William Lewis Vance and Arizona Wiley Vance.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Sam and Elizabeth Wiley, five brothers and two sisters.

Those left to cherish her memory include one daughter, Lois Jean Dingess of Dingess, WV; one son, James (Kim) Romans of South Point, OH; one sister, Gertrude Watkins of Stollings; one brother, Ireland (Linda) Vance of New Port, TN; four grandchildren, Paul Michael Romans, Stephen Romans, Tiffany Sheppard, and Henry Bailey; ten great grandchildren; and special friends, Lana McCloud and Lottie Canterbury.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Thursday, March 26, 2020 at Freeman Funeral Home with Darrell Newsome officiating. Burial will follow at the Canterbury Cemetery, Dingess, WV.

Friends may call Thursday, March 26, 2020 from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
