Deloris Adams, 71 of Chapmanville, WV, departed this life on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at Trinity Health Care, Logan, WV.

She was born September 26, 1953, in Logan, WV, the daughter of the late Arlen and Theora Conley Powers.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Adams; sisters, Leota (Elwood) Farley and Cora (Fred) Hager; brothers, Denver Conley, Lester Powers, and Frealin (Yvonne) Powers; brothers-in-law, Leslie Tomblin, Ronnie Roberts, Robert Adams, T.J. Ackers, Mark Ackers, Jack Darby, Parker Stollings; and father and mother-in-law, Luther and Melva Adams.

Deloris enjoyed cooking and watching T.V.

Those left to cherish her memory include her two sons, Timothy Adams of Harts, and Brian (Melissa) Adams of Big Ugly; ten sisters, Juaneta Tomblin of Smokehouse, Dora (Dave Payne) Roberts of North Carolina, Della Powers of Beach Creek, Lucille Powers of Smokehouse, Bertha Darby of Ohio, Brenda (Roy Sr.) Lamb of Chapmanville, Rosemary Ackers of North Carolina, Debra Dowdy of North Carolina, and Roxanne (John) Ackers Thompkins of North Carolina; one brother, Arlen (Amy) Powers Jr. of Smokehouse; six grandchildren, Zachary Adams, Aiden Martin, Alexia Martin, Trevon Adams, Braxton Adams, and Timothy Adams Jr.; sister-in-law, Sue Powers, and brother-in-law, Tommy Dowdy.

Services will be held at 2:00pm, Sunday, September 21, 2025, at Freeman Funeral Home with Jimmy Carter and Jerry Allen Adams officiating. Burial will follow at the Gillis Conley Cemetery, Chapmanville, WV.

Visitation will be on Sunday, September 21, 2025, from 12:00pm to 2:00pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
