Dean “Doc” Williams, 67 of Chapmanville, WV, departed this life on August 24, 2025 at his residence after a short illness.

He was born April 21, 1958 in Tampa, Fl. the son of the late Don & Thelma Williams.

Doc was on the Chapmanville Town Council, a fireman with the Chapmanville Volunteer Fire Department, the owner and operator of Dean Rentals and Chapmanville TV. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, boating and video games.

Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Bruce Alan Williams; the mother of his son, Dawna Prince; and a host of friends.

Visitation will be on Thursday, August 28, 2025 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at the funeral home

Services will be held at 1:00pm, Thursday, August 28, 2025 at Freeman Funeral Home with Josh Vanhook officiating. Burial will follow at the Forest Lawn Cemetery, Pecks Mill, WV.

Pallbearers will be Steve Savage, Mark Adkins, Lanny Slazzo, Ben DesRocher, Gabe Davis, and Nick Ferrell.
