David “Hippie” White Obituary
David “Hippie” White, 60 of Alkol, WV, departed this life on May 29, 2025, at his residence.
He was born March 6, 1965, in Logan, WV, the son of Frances White and the late Garnel Ritchie White.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Showers; and a very special aunt, Brenda Ellis.
Hippie enjoyed working on cars, fishing and watching NASCAR.
In addition to his mother, those left to cherish his memory include his companion, Debra Halstead; stepdaughter, Tiffany Adkins; stepsons, Dean Showers and Jackie Berry; brother, Ricky Ray White; and grandchildren, Bailey Adkins, James Adkins, Austin Showers, Jacob Berry, Ben Berry, Cecil Green and Annalise Green; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Graveside services will be held at Thursday, June 5, 2025, at Showers Cemetery, Branchland, WV.
Visitation will be on Thursday, June 5, 2025, from 12:00pm to 1:00pm at Freeman Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
