David Maynard Obituary
David Maynard, 69 of Ranger, WV, departed this life on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at Boone Memorial Hospital, Madison, WV.
He was born January 30, 1956, in West Hamlin, WV, the son of the late Parker J. and Elva Nelson Maynard.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra K. Bryant Maynard; and five brothers, Milton Maynard, Wandell Maynard, Donald Maynard, Robert “Bob” Maynard and Paul Maynard.
David enjoyed watching T.V. and riding his four-wheeler.
Those left to cherish his memory include son, Robert Workman; two sisters, Thelma McCoy and Ona McCoy; two brothers, Scotty Maynard and Frankie Maynard; and sisters-in-law, Kathy Maynard and Sandra Maynard.
Visitation will be on Monday, March 31, 2025, from 11:00am to 2:00pm at Freeman Funeral Home with Ernie Vance officiating. Burial will follow at the Friends and Family Cemetery, Ranger, WV.
Pallbearers will be Scotty Maynard, Frankie Maynard, Jordan Maynard, Kevin McCoy, Ian McCoy, Alex McCoy and Mark McCoy.
Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
