David A. Kovach, 36 of Accoville, WV, departed this life on November 20, 2025 at Accoville, WV.

He was born January 14, 1989 in Logan, WV the son of Latira Simpkins and the late Frank E. Kovach.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Terry Grimmett, Shelia Mullins and Steve & Wilma Kovach, his half-sister, Lisa Anette Kovach and half-brother, Frank Edward Kovach II.

David loved walking in the mountains, four-wheeling and fishing.

In addition to his mother, those left to cherish his memory include his step-grandmother, Linda Grimmett; one son, Noah Gabriel Kovach; and his half brother, Steven J. Kovach.

Memorial Services will be held at 1:00pm on Monday, December 8, 2025 at Freeman Funeral Home with Jimmy Carter officiating, visitation will be one hour prior.

Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
