David Michael Ingram, 57, of Crooked Creek formerly of Dehue, departed this life on Thursday, December 6, 2018 at CAMC Memorial, Charleston, WV.
He was born August 13, 1961 in Logan, WV, a son of the late Billie and Dorothy Bemis Ingram.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Ricky Alan Ingram and one brother-in-law, Tennis Vernatter.
Mike graduated from Logan High School and Southern. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, retiring in 2005 after 22 years of service. Mike worked as a cook in the school system for a couple years and then went to work at the hospital where he made a lot of good friends. He loved to read and travel with his family.
Those left to cherish his memory include two sisters, Linda Vernatter of Crooked Creek; and Sue (Tennis) Vance of Lake; two brothers, Jim (Pam Owsley) Ingram of Crooked Creek and Donnie (Carol) Ingram of Plymouth, Wisconsin; one aunt, Alice Vance; one uncle, Donald Bemis; Mike was a “P.U.N.K.” which stood for a professional uncle no kids. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews and cousins who will sorely miss him.
Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Monday, December 10, 2018 at the Calvary Baptist Church, Airport Road, Chapmanville, WV with John Freeman and Mike Manuel officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Pecks Mill, WV.
Visitation will be on Sunday, December 9, 2018 from 6 – 9 pm at the church.
Pallbearers will be his brothers and nephews.
