David Evans Obituary

David Ray Evans, 65, of Chapmanville, WV, departed this life on March 30, 2020 at his residence of natural causes.

He was born December 18, 1954 in Logan, WV, the son of the late Earnest and Maudie Evans.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, William “Bill” Evans and Cora Evans, one brother, William Lee Evans, one nephew, Eugene Adams, one niece, Renee Adkins and one brother-in-law, Leslie Adams.

David was someone that loved all sports. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with family and friends. David loved to draw and he was a very good artist.

Those left to cherish his memory include two brothers, Rev. Dennie Evans and Danny Dale Evans; two sisters, Judy Adams and Lola Sargent; and a host of nieces and nephews that loved him.

Private Graveside Memorial Service will be held with Rev. Dennie Evans and Rev. Joe Lane officiating.

Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
