Darren Lee Boyd, 37, of Whitman, WV, departed this life on September 11, 2020 at Whitman, WV.
He was born December 22, 1982 in Logan, WV, the son of Paul and Patricia Boyd of Whitman.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James J. & Ruth K. Jones and Paris & Mary Ruby Boyd.
Darren enjoyed spending time with loved ones, fishing, playing the guitar and writing music. He also enjoyed playing video games with his nephews, helping others and putting a smile on the faces of all his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, those left to cherish his memory include one sister, Elizabeth Boyd Ramey; two brothers, Michael (Heather) Boyd and Aaron Boyd; and his nephews and niece, Christopher Ramey, Aiden Boyd, Jacob Boyd, Luke Boyd, and Isabella Grace Boyd.
Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
