Danny Joe Bryant, 70 of Harts, WV, departed this life on October 9, 2025 at his residence.

He was born November 29, 1954 in Logan, WV, the son of the late Don and Minnie Bryant.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, General & Mary Bryant and Byrd & Nerry Bryant, and two brothers, Gary Bryant and Terry Bryant.

Danny enjoyed fishing, giving people a hard time, talking with friends, watching football especially the Pittsburg Steelers.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Phyllis Bryant; two daughters, Jessica (Michael) Cochran of California and Kayla (Matthew) Miller of Danville; two brothers, Ronnie (Phyllis) Bryant, J.D. Bryant; two sisters-in-law, Phyllis Bryant and Joy Bryant; three grandchildren, Katelyn Myers, Marty Mullins and Emma Mullins; special friend who he called “son”, William Adams; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

The family would like to thank the patients and staff of the Pulmonary Therapy at Logan Regional Medical Center, and the Doctors office of John Miller at Stollings.

Services will be held at 2:00pm, Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at Freeman Funeral Home with Van Collins officiating. Burial will follow at the Bryant Cemetery, Harts, WV.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 from 12:00pm until 2:00pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
