Curtis Ball Jr.

Curtis Ball Jr., 69, of Logan, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 26, 2021 at CAMC Memorial Hospital.

He was born March 19, 1952 in Logan, WV, the son of the late Curtis Ball Sr. and Vinna Mae Ball.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his in-laws, John and Vinnie Marcum.

Curtis enjoyed spending time with the love of his life Sarah, his kids, and grandkids. He enjoyed going to church and having a good cup of coffee.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 45 years, Sarah Ball; one daughter, Kemley (Pete) Green; four sons, Buddy (Crystal) Ball, Cody Ball, Nathan Ball, and James (Kimberly) Ball; three sisters, Elizabeth Thompson, Mary (James) Messer, and Wilda (Scott) Pack; five brothers, Thomas (Lovetta) Ball, Willard (Nancy) Ball, Delbert (Pam) Ball, William Ball, and Sonny (Lisa) Ball; ten grandchildren, Adam May, Tiffany May, Alisha May, Jordan Green, Melissa Ball, Katelynn Ball, Buddy Ball Jr., Nicole Ball, James “Bub” Ball, and Shannon Ball; one honorary son, Johnny Ray Plumbley; special niece, Donna Burton; and Special nephew, James “Little Willard” Ball.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, August 2, 2021 at Freeman Funeral Home with Jody Bias officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Pecks Mill, WV.

Visitation will be on Sunday, August 1, 2021 from 6:00 pm til 9:00 pm at Freeman Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Johnny Ray Plumbley, Eric Nelson, Ray Marcum, James Willard Ball, Zack Ball, and Adam May.

Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
