Crystal "Criss" Cook

Crystal “Criss” Cook, 79 of Danville, WV, departed this life on May 5, 2020 at her residence. 

She was born November 12, 1940 in Paint Creek, WV the daughter of the late Willie and Rachel Watts. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Cook, great grandson, Jonathan Wesley Tabor, four brothers, Shirley Watts, Sam Watts, Kyle Watts, and Emmett Watts, one sister, Neavel Stephenson and one step-daughter, Libby Toler. 

Criss enjoyed traveling, going to church and spending time with family. 

Those left to cherish her memory include one daughter, Rhonda Thompson and her husband Keith of Harts, WV; one son, Marcus Manns and his wife Barbara of Harts, WV; two step-sons, Dean Cook and his wife Wendy of Chapmanville, WV and Ty Cook and his wife Amy of Man, WV; nine grandchildren, Nikki (Josh) Conley, Lulu (Jonathan) Tabor, Bobby Dean (Erica) Cook, Lindsey (Anthony) Stollings, Carley Cook, Baylee Jo Cook, Broc Cook, Lenia Lambert and William Lambert; eight great-grandchildren, Robert Cook, Jaxon Tabor, Lucas Tabor, Zoe Conley, Tuesdae Conley, Kalysta Conley, Austynn Conley, Bristyn Thompson; and her sister-in-law and best friend, Shirley Manns. 

There will be private graveside services and have a Celebration of her life will be held at a later date. 

Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
