Clinton Marcum

Clinton Marcum, 75 of Peach Creek, WV, departed this life on September 13, 2023 at his residence.

He was born April 28, 1948 in Ethel, WV the son of the late Bryant and Bessie Marcum.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Clifford & Vada Johnson and his siblings, James Marcum, Arthur Marcum, Thelma Perry, Marie Thompson, Loraine Wallace, and Doris Randolph.

Clinton enjoyed going to church, fishing, golfing and spending time with his family.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Priscilla Marcum of Peach Creek; daughters, Lisa Marcum and Alyssa Marcum both of Peach Creek; son, Clayton (Tina) Marcum of Crooked Creek; grandchildren, Whitney (Phillip) Deer, Clayton Jr (Briana) Marcum, Christopher (Melody) Marcum, Ean Allen, Eva Allen, TJ White, Val White and Tara (Blake) Adams; great grandchildren, Blake, Natalie, and Gavin Deer, Jackson, Brooklyn, and Elijah Marcum, Linley Marcum, Connor White, Laura Lambert, Brentley White, Jace White and Kyra White; he is also survived by, Susan Yacomino who was like his daughter, John Cremeans, Edna Marcum, Roberta Roop, and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends that he loved very much.

Services will be held at 1:00pm, Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at Freeman Funeral Home with Curtis Gibson officiating.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, September19, 2023 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Phillip Deer, Clayton Marcum Jr, John Cremeans, TJ White, Ean Allen and Connor White. Honorary pallbearer will be Clayton Marcum Sr.

Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
