Christopher Oren “Chris” Adkins, 45 of Whitman, WV departed this life on October 21, 2023 at Hubbard Hospice House, South Charleston, WV.
He was born May 1, 1978 in Logan, WV the son of Karen Nelson.
Chris enjoyed camping, fishing, and spending time with his son Bryce.
In addition to his mother, those left to cherish his memory include his companion, Kimberly McCloud; one daughter; sons, Bryce Adkins, Tyler Mills, and one other; aunts, Anita Nelson and Stephanie Ward; and cousins, Timmy Nelson, Keith “Bubby” Nelson, Joey Garrett, and Allen Garrett.
Visitation will be on Thursday, October 26, 2023 from 12:00 to 1:00pm at Freeman Funeral Home.
Services will be held at 1:00pm, Thursday, October 26, 2023 at the funeral home with Bobby Adkins officiating. Burial will follow at the Uncle Dyke Garrett Cemetery, Chapmanville, WV.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
