Christine Mae Mullins Obituary

Christine Mae Mullins, 63 of Big Creek, WV, departed this life on December 25, 2025 at CAMC Memorial Hospital, Charleston, WV.


She was born May 4, 1962 in Detroit, MI the daughter of the late Edward Stover and Emily Kamm Trupiano.


In addition to her parents Edward and Emily, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Ray Hannah, grandparents, Joseph and Rose Kamm, sisters, Ann (Harold) Mitchell and Doreen Stover, brothers, Michael Stover and Joseph Stover, aunts, Joyce and Toni and uncle, Lino.


Christine's most prized possession was her grandson, ONEY-RAY. She had a green thumb and enjoyed gardening and her dogs. Christine loved all her family, dancing and listening to music. She always tried helping people.


Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Travis “Sport” Mullins; former daughter-in-law, Angel Mullins; grandson, Oney-Ray James Mullins; sister, Louann Mcillwain; brothers, Frank (Linda) Stover, Bob (Alice) Stover, Fred (Nellie) Stover, John (Michelle) Stover and Greg (Roseann) Stover; aunts and uncles, Theresa (Carroll) Rasnick, Mario Kamm, Chuck (Marie) Kamm, George (Connie) Kamm, Ed (Paula) Kamm and Mary (Dave) Cox; her little sunshine, Kristie Wilkes; special friend, Robert Sloan; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.


In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Freeman Funeral Home to help with Christine's arrangements.


Services will be held at 2:00pm, Thursday, January 1, 2026 at Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Jimmy Carter officiating. Burial will follow at the Mullins Cemetery, Harts, WV.


Visitation will be on Thursday, January 1, 2026 from 12:00pm until 2:00pm at the funeral home.


Pallbearers will be family and friends.


Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
