Cheryl Lynn Newsome

Cheryl Lynn Newsome, 56, of Logan, WV, departed this life on July 24, 2020 at CAMC Memorial Hospital, Charleston, WV. 

She was born November 4, 1963 in Logan, the daughter of the late Leonard Greenlee and Rosalind Taylor. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandmother Mattie Lee Taylor. 

Cheryl enjoyed spending time with her kids and grandchildren, and enjoyed being outdoors. 

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Franklin Newsome; three children, Samia Lynn Justice, Dion Dan Greenlee and Laetitia Ann Greenlee; and nine grandchildren, Cameron Justice, Caden Justice, Akeelah Greenlee, Ariana Greenlee, Bryson Workman, Ma’Kiyah Greenlee, Briell Daniels, Gabriel Daniels and Za’vion Greenlee. 

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV, with Mike Pollard officiating.
