Charles William Wallace Sr

Charles William Wallace Sr., 79 of Dingess, WV went home to be with his Lord & Savior on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at his home, surrounded by his loving family.

Charles was born January 21, 1941 in Wayne County, WV the son of the late Everett Wallace & Ethel (Henry “Chick”) Marcum.

Charles loved the outdoors, hunting with his family & friends, & feeding his multitude of wild “critters” straight out of his hand. He attended Trace Church of God.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 60 years, Mary Frances (Spaulding) Wallace; his children, Wendy (Rodney Jr.) Short of Verdunville, WV, Chuck Wallace of Dingess, WV, Stephen Dale Wallace of Wyandotte, MI, & Mike Wallace of Dingess WV; his grandchildren, Dan (Erin) Marcum, Rodney (Asia) Short III, Tyler (Christie) Wallace, Erica (Dakota) Fletcher, Seth (Vivian) Short, Candace Maynard, Stephen Wallace II, & Zoey Wallace; 9 great-grandchildren, Brayden Marcum, Addison Marcum, Callie Short, Lyla Wallace, Dakota Fletcher Jr., Rosella Fletcher, Amelia Fletcher, Violette Fletcher, Audrey Short, & 1 expected in December.

Also surviving are his siblings, Edna Mae Marcum, Rufus (Lillie Mae) Wallace, Geraldine Spry, & Imogene Crum all of Dingess, WV & a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, family, & very special friends.

A memorial service will be held 6:00pm Saturday May 29, 2021 at Trace Church of God in Dingess, WV with pastor Bobby Carter and Jerry Graham Officiating.
