Charles F. Stone

Charles F. Stone, 75, of Stollings, WV, departed this life on August 7, 2021 at Logan Regional Medical Center.

He was born September 26, 1946 in Logan, WV, the son of the late Wayne Stone and Hazel Dingess Stone.

Charles was a class of 1964 Logan Wildcat. He was a coal miner for 33 years, Logan County Surveyor, Commander of American Legion Post 19, and a Service Officer of Post 19. Charles lived life to the fullest and was loved and will be missed by so many.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Oma “Fran” Stone; one daughter, Kimberly Stone Scott and her husband, Harley; one sister, Shelia Stone; nephew, Kristofer Vance & Cheryl; and great nephews, Bryce and Logan Vance.

Services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, August 14, 2021 at American Legion Post 19, Logan, WV with Barney Goins officiating.
