Catheleen Elaine Aparicio, 70 of San Diego, CA, departed this life on July 6, 2024 in Indiana, PA.

She was born September 18, 1953 in Madison, WV the daughter of the late Smokey Ball and Kathleen Virginia Miller Ball.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rudolph Prieto Aparicio Sr, her companion of the last 15 years, Jose “Michael” Montano, grandparents, Giles Archie Ball, Fairlena Griffith Ball, Aubrey Miller and Arbutus Clyde Kirk Miller, brothers, David Lenn Ball (Donna) and Robert Coulter, sisters, Stephanie Rene Ball Gillichbauer and Rebecca Jean Ball Maury, nephews, Joseph White and David Switzer, and nieces, Laura White and Melissa Maury.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Anna Marie Aparicio and Rudolph Aparicio, Jr (Azita); stepdaughters, Michelle Pedroza (Louis) and Sonia Santos; grandchildren, Ashley Elaine Garcia Aparicio and Devin Garcia Aparicio; great-grandson, Asher James O'Lena; step-grandchildren, Maya Pedroza, Ezra Pedroza, Issa Pedroza and Anthony Guinn; sisters, Deborah White (David), Belinda Fowles Justice, Sherry Wilds (Donald) and Linda Chapman Crowder (Gordon); brothers, John Steven Ball (Rachel) and Keith Edward Chapman (Lessie); uncle Ernest Ray Miller; stepmother, Regina Fay Coats Ball; nieces and nephews, David Lenn Ball, David Maury (Glenda), Michael Maury (Tammy), Christopher Maury, Thomas Robertson, Nina Robinson, Nicholas Wilds, Brandy Magyar, Christina Roe (Jonathon), Jessica Ball, Savannah Ball, Cristi Switzer, Jessica Justice, Robert Coulter and Kenneth Coulter; beloved matriarch, Diana Ferrell Hill and family, Siegel White III (Tara), Lecia Kay Atkins (Mark), and Susan Shanklin (Paul); and her beloved friends, Crystal Fitzwater, Sharon Smith, Mercedes Jones, Linda Landin, Daliana Guevara Agraz, Laurie Harry, Jackie Lopez, Rene Harris, Noah Harris, Rosie Pinedo and Angela McFarland.

Services will be held at 2:00pm, Saturday, July 13, 2024 at Freeman Funeral Home with Johnny Craddock officiating. Burial will follow at the Ferrell Cemetery, Lake, WV.

Visitation will be on Saturday, July 13, 2024 from 1:00pm until 2:00pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Ethan Hamilton, Jon Jon Hamilton, Mark Atkins, Jordan Atkins, Siegel White III, Paul Shanklin, Devin Aparicio, Rudy Aparicio, Michael Jimenez and Isaiah Amuel Hilliard.
