Carol Sue (Frye) Wall

Carol Sue Frye Wall, 76 of Ranger, WV, departed this life on January 17, 2023 at St. Mary's Medical Center, Huntington, WV.

She was born October 6, 1946 in Harts, WV the daughter of the late Willard & Mescal Gartin Frye.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell Wall, son, Tommy Brian Adkins, grandson, Matthew Farmer, granddaughter, Gabriella Adkins, grandparents, Silas & Carrie Browning Gartin and Willie & Gertrude Sias Frye and her father and mother-in-law, Mitt and Nora Wall.

Carol enjoyed gardening, going to the beach and spending time with family and her pets.

Those left to cherish her memory include two daughters, Eraina Darlene Adkins Farmer (Terry Elder) and Angela Wall Edwards (John); one sister, Christine Frye Adkins (Spencer); one brother, Kenneth Frye (Heidi); six grandchildren, Amanda Farmer, Dominic Gibson, Dante Gibson, Zachary Adkins, John Wesley Edwards and Amanda Farley; nine great grandchildren, Christopher Farmer, Kohl Farmer, Caleb Farmer, Dylan Farmer, Laila Cheeseman, Timothy Cheeseman, Garrett Edwards, Makenzie Farley and Emily Farley; and her loving pet, Queenie.

Services will be held at 1:00pm, Sunday, January 22, 2023 at Freeman Funeral Home with Ernest Vance and Justin Adkins officiating. Burial will follow at the Frye Cemetery, Frye Ridge Road, Ranger, WV.

Visitation will be on Saturday, January 21, 2023 from 6:00pm until 9:00pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Daniel Frye, Christopher Farmer, Kohl Farmer, Caleb Farmer, Dylan Farmer and Trevor Adkins.

Honorary pallbearers will be Homer Cheeseman, Jon Frye, and John Wesley Edwards.

Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
