Obituary
Carol M. VanNatter, 83 of Harts, WV, departed this life on August 16, 2023 at the Hubbard Hospice House West, So. Charleston, WV.
She was born May 1, 1940 in Verner, WV the daughter of the late Mildred Fender.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Lisa VanNatter and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Howard & Ester VanNatter.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Thomas H. VanNatter; two daughters, Donna Daughtery and Rhonda Hammer; one son, Thomas VanNatter Jr; three sisters, Jean Jackson, Drema Sue Griffith and Sharon Treece; one brother, Scott Fender; eight grandchildren, Matthew, Joshua, Amber, Timothy, Christopher, Rachael, Chandler and Jacob; and four great-grandchildren, Emily, Arabella, Peyton and Kendrick.
Services will be held at 2:00pm, Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at Freeman Funeral Home with President Edward Toney and Bill Stevens officiating. Burial will follow at the VanNatter Cemetery, Harts, WV.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 from 11:00am until 2:00pm at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be David Daughtery, Chris Hammer, Joshua Daughtery, Jacob VanNatter, Timothy Daughtery, and Scott Butler.
Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
