Carol Ann Stowers

Carol Ann Stowers, 69, of Lake, WV, departed this life on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at the Pavilion Nursing Home, Piketon, OH.

She was born October 19, 1949 in Logan, WV, the daughter of the late Arvin “Butcher” Hayner and JoAnn Eleanor Hayner.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Joe Stowers, second husband, Larry Robinson Sr, one daughter, Lisa (Stowers) Gibson, and a special friend, Clarence Bryant.

Carol enjoyed singing at church, crafting, shopping, and was a seamstress. She loved her grandchildren and animals.

Those left to cherish her memory include one son, Larry Jr (Crystal) Robinson; one sister, Imogene Pack; four grandchildren, Amanda (Darel) Runyon, Evan Gibson, Zachary (Jade) Robinson and Kellyn (Thomas) Blair; and two great-grandchildren, Keydon Runyon and Rockelle Gibson.

Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, August 31, 2019 at Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Curtis Gibson officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Pecks Mill, WV.

Visitation will be on Saturday, August 31, 2019 from 12 – 2 pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Evan Gibson, Darel Runyon II, Larry Robinson Jr, Mike Jeffrey and Kevin Bucher.

Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
