Burl Reed Trent, 74, of Man, WV, departed this life on Monday, February 10, 2020 at his residence.
He was born March 17, 1945 in Landville, WV, the son of the late Dewey and Stella Trent.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Hubert Trent, Hulen Trent, and Donzel Trent; three sisters, Magdaline Altizer, Arbadella Justice, and Lena Hatfield.
Burl was retired from the coal mines, he enjoyed spending time with friends and family, telling jokes, and making people laugh. He loved Dr. Ralph Stanley along with all bluegrass music. Burl watched Fox Network and Sports faithfully, especially the Redskins and the NY Yankees. Epstein didn't kill himself.
Those left to cherish his memory include two daughters, Theresa (Harley) Adams of Harts, WV and Pamela (Gene) Beaver of Elk Creek, WV; three sisters, Jean Story of Hunt, WV, Linda (Danny) Browning of Hunt, WV, and Sondra Cozart of Brooksville, FL; four brothers, Walter (Wilma) Trent, Doug (Lyndora) Trent, Dolan Trent all of Hunt, WV, and Marshall (Joann) Trent of Brooksville, FL; six grandchildren, Kaitlyn Trent, Matthew Grimmett, Austin Walker, Keisha Brown, Kaylie Toler, and Cannon Adams; 7 great-grandchildren, Reneesemae, Ariella, Neveah, Zander, Lyric Rhett, Braxton, and one unborn great-grandchild due August 2020. Also, Dalton and Waylon Adams who he loved as his great-grandchildren; special friends, Roy (Allison) Lambert, Dave (Melody) Thompson, Rick Grimmett, and Sammy Browning.
