Brian Keith Maynard, 55 of Huntington, WV, departed this life on February 24, 2025 at Huntington, WV.

He was born July 25, 1969 in Huntington, WV the son of the late Carlos W. Maynard and Wilda Sue Dalton Maynard.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Aaron Keith Maynard, and his uncles, Don Dalton, Jimmy Dalton, Franklin Blair, Andy Mullins, Johnny Mullins and Bobby Casto.

Brian loved auto body and mechanic work. He also loved to paint and enjoyed redoing cars. Brian enjoyed playing to guitar.

Those left to cherish his memory include one brother, Carlos W. Maynard Jr; aunts, Jessie Blair, Goldie Dalton, Alma Mullins, Leora (Lester) Mullins, Narlene Mullins, Kay Casto, Donna Dalton, Deanna (Ivan) Bryant and Karen Dalton; uncles, Howard “Jr” (Patricia) Dalton and Sammy Dalton; niece and nephew, Shelby Maynard, and Carlos Maynard III; and great niece and nephew, Nova and Bryson.

Services will be held at 1:00pm, Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at Freeman Funeral Home with Jimmy Carter officiating. Burial will follow at the Highland Memory Gardens, Old Logan Road, Chapmanville, WV.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 from 12:00pm until 1:00pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
