Brenda Sue Curry

Brenda Sue Curry, 72 of Chapmanville, WV, departed this life on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at CAMC Memorial Hospital.

She was born July 7, 1949 in Holden, WV the daughter of the late Ed & Ellen Blankenship.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Larry Blankenship, Wallace Blankenship, Bob Blankenship, and Billy Blankenship; her sister, Dorothy King.

Sue enjoyed taking care of everyone, crafting, spending time with her grandkids, gardening, yard selling, and especially decorating for the holidays.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Tommy David Curry; one daughter, April Dawn Curry (Kenny Townsend), two sons, Tommy David Curry II (Sherri) and Ronald Daryl Curry (Suzie); one sister, Mary Alice Christian; one brother, Matthew Blankenship; three grandchildren, Luke Compton, Chloe Curry, and Tommy David Curry III; and special niece Samantha Bowechop.

Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, November 8, 2021 at Freeman Funeral Home with PJ Tomblin officiating. Burial will follow at the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Pecks Mill, WV.

Friends may call Monday, November 8, 2021 from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM at the Freeman Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
