Brenda Sue Chapman

Brenda Sue Chapman, 74 of Chapmanville, WV was called home by the Lord on the evening of September 24th, 2022 surrounded by loved ones at CAMC Memorial Hospital.

Brenda was born February 22, 1948 to the late Roy and Olena Keaton of Rum Creek.

She worked 34 years for the Logan County Board of Education until her retirement in 2003. In 1993 Brenda married the love of her life Thomas (Frank) Chapman and both lived a beautiful life together for the last 29 years traveling and taking care of one another.

Aside from her parents, Brenda is reunited in Heaven also by her three brothers, David Roger Keaton, Robert Keaton, and Clyde Keaton, and two sisters Jo Ann Collins, and Shirley Tackett.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband, Thomas Franklin Chapman, two sisters Pam (Larry) Tooley, and Donna Jean (Richard) Christian, one special niece Beth Johnson, her life-long best friend Deloris Spears that she worked with at Dehue Grade School, one special friend Deidre Conley, a special loving set of neighbors of over 20 years Katrina, Nathan, and Erica Brada, and so many more

nieces, nephews, and friends that she loved and adored so much.

Visitation will be Thursday, September 29, 2022 from 12:00 to 1:00pm at Freeman Funeral Home.

Services will be held at 1:00pm, Thursday, September 29, 2022 at the Funeral Home with Johnny Steele officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens.
