Brady Bryant

Brady Bryant, 86, of Verdunville, WV, departed this life on April 20, 2021 at Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, KY.

He was born October 8, 1934 in Whirlwind, WV, the son of the late Dave & Oma (Hensley) Bryant.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Alexander and Juda Bryant, Perr Hensley and Mary Ann Thompson, his wife of 51 years, Agnes Mathis Bryant and he was the last of 22 children.

Brady enjoyed going to church, gardening and his horses and animals. He loved his family. Brady sang with several groups for over 70 years.

Those left to cherish his memory include three daughters, Betty (Larry) Jackson of Yuma, Gina (Greg) Hiroskey of Verdunville, and Taina (Steve) Kirk of Franklinton, NC; three sons, Tim Bryant of Verdunville, Darrell (Sandy) Bryant of Lynchburg, VA and Milan (Tammy) Bryant of Chapmanville; thirteen grandchildren, Larry “Bub” (Angel) Jackson Jr, Kevin (Cassie) Jackson, Kelly (Burns) Diamond, Jennifer (Shaun) Bostic, Shane Hiroskey, NaTasha (Kevin) Griswold, Travis (Kaitlyn Maynard) Bryant, Alayna Bryant, Kayla (Tyler) Amburgey, Kelsey (Kelvie) Fore, Myla (Dalton) Cavins, Dustin Bryant and Gabe (Stefanie) Kirk; twelve great-grandchildren, Avery Jackson, Grayson Jackson, Korbin Bostic, Mason Bostic, Burns Diamond IV, Carter Griswold, Brady Griswold, Natalia Bryant, Addison Amburgey, Kallyn Fore, Brady Kirk and Raelyn Kirk.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Sunday, April 25, 2021 at Freeman Funeral Home with Elbert Collins Jr, Glen Tomblin and Steve Kirk officiating. Burial will follow at Bryant Cemetery, Buck Fork, Harts, WV.

Visitation will be on Sunday, April 25, 2021 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be his grandchildren.
