Bonnie Lou Workman Obituary

Bonnie Lou Workman, 73 of Logan, WV, departed this life on Friday, March 6, 2026, at Logan Regional Medical Center.


She was born January 7, 1953, in Holden, WV, the daughter of the late Arnold (Spike) and Jessie Kelly.


In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, David E. Kelly; sister, Anita M. (David) Ritter; paternal grandparents, Gordon and Nellie Kelly; maternal grandparents, Emmett and Victoria Frazier; and in-laws, Ramon and Kathleen Workman.


Bonnie enjoyed sewing, crocheting, spending time with family, baking, cake decorating, and she was a member of the Whitman Freewill Baptist Church for 60 plus years.


Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Raymond J. Workman; daughter, Tara L. (Bazzle “Jamie”) Lambert; sister, Ina Renee Kelly; sister-in-law, Sharon Kelly; granddaughter, Grace Renee Lambert; nieces, Amy L. (Jeremy) Harless and Stacie Maria Wooten; great-niece, Katelyn Wooten; great-nephews, Christopher Wooten and Logan Wooten; and a host of family and friends.


Services will be held at 12:00pm, Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at Whitman Freewill Baptist Church with Jeremy Thompson and Jeremy Harless officiating. Burial will follow at the Forest Lawn Cemetery, Pecks Mill, WV.


Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, from 6:00pm to 9:00pm at the church.


Pallbearers will be family and friends.


Honorary Pallbearers will be Sonny Adams, Ralph Blevins and Randy McLemore.


Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
