Billy Ray Spence

Billy Ray Spence, 70, of Chapmanville, WV, departed this life on April 18, 2021 at his residence.

He was born January 11, 1951 in Chapmanville, WV, the son of the late Earsel and Della Spence.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Anthony Spence, five siblings, Mae Spence (Andy) Kabot, Pauline Staggers, Roger Spence, David Spence, and Bertha Jewel Spence.

Billy enjoyed four wheeling, singing, and billiards. He was also a news junkie.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Amanda Spence of Chapmanville; one daughter, Nichole Spence of Garden City, MI; one son, Joseph Spence of Garden City, MI; one sister, Wanda Pavich; two brothers, Tracy Spence and Teddy (Diane) Spence; one grandchild, Shane Spence; and his honorary grandchildren, Devin Dziuban, Alexander Arnold and Ashlynn Arnold.

Services will be held at 1:00pm, Friday, April 23, 2021 at Freeman Funeral Home with Barney Goins officiating. Burial will be at a later date.

Visitation will be on Friday, April 23, 2021 from 12:00pm until 1:00pm at the funeral home.
