Betty Ruth Wells, 64 of Peach Creek, WV, departed this life on August 15, 2024 at her residence.

 

She was born December 20, 1959 in Logan, WV the daughter of the late Lonzo & Lenoir Wells.

 

Betty loved going to church, reading her bible and listening to gospel music. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Betty loved her grand-dog Simmy.

 

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Stephanie Danielle Wells of Logan; , two sisters, Terri Lynn Wells of Beckley and Donna Dale Hill (George) of Valley View; two nieces, Heather Hill and Erin Hill, two nephews, Christopher Hill and Easton Bailey all of Valley View; her aunt, Edith Meadows of Shady Springs, WV; her uncle, Johnny Stivers of Cleveland, NC ;her special friends, Donna & Delbert Queen and Lou Cole; and two special girls she considered her own, Kayla Wright (Clifton Forge) and Christine Conery (Kyle) both of Portsmouth, VA.

 

Services will be held at 12:00pm, Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Anthony Moss officiating.

 

Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 from 6:00pm until 9:00pm at the funeral home.
