Bessie Watts Lambert Midkiff, 79 of Ranger, WV, departed this life on March 15, 2026 at South Point, Ohio.

She was born March 24, 1946 in Harts, WV the daughter of the late Rufus & Rhoda Clark Watts.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Zachary, brothers, Alvie Watts and Rufus Watts Jr, sister, Allie Jeffrey and the love of her life, Patrick E. Lambert.

Bessie was a devoted devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and homemaker. She was a member of the Montana Freewill Baptist Church.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Ermin Midkiff; daughter, Rosalie (Tim) Stafford; son, Robert (Katrina) Lambert; sister, Eloise Maynard; grandchildren, Jared (Janette), Christopher, Ashley, Joshua (Destiny), Samantha (Brandon), and Alex; great-grandchildren, Justin, Karson, Logan, Morgan, Amelia, Juniper, and Montgomery; and her special friends, Evelyn and Charlie Brumfield.

Services will be held at 12:00pm, Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at the Montana Freewill Baptist Church with Bennie Dale Dean officiating. Burial will follow at the Sias-Lambert Cemetery at Ranger, WV

Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 24, 2026 from 11:00am until 12:00pm at the church.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
