Obituary
Avonell Trickler, 86 of Chapmanville, WV departed this life on September 4, 2023 at Logan Regional Medical Center.
She was born June 1, 1937 in Chapmanville, WV the daughter of the late Willie and Sadie Berry.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Trickler; daughter, Debra Wilson; siblings, Leo Berry, Kathleen Richards, and Sammy Berry; and great-granddaughter, ShaeLynn Workman.
Avonell enjoyed spending time with family, going to church, shopping, and traveling.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Retha Workman; sons, Jerry (Renee) Conley and Stuart (Penny) Trickler; sisters, Kay Thomas and Linda Flynn; brother, Oley Berry; grandchildren, Amber Conley, James Conley, Jason Workman, Lavonna (Darren) Nelson, Kimberly Ball, Kayla Sizemore, and Chloe Trickler; nine great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Visitation will be on Friday, September 8, 2023 from 6:00 to 9:00pm at Freeman Funeral Home.
Services will be held at 12:00pm, Saturday, September 9, 2023 at the funeral home with Bill Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow at the Highland Memory Gardens, Chapmanville, WV.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
