Arland Riffe, 76 of Harts, WV, departed this life on April 25, 2024 at Hillcrest Health Care Center, Danville, WV.

He was born July 15, 1947 in West Hamlin, WV the son of the late Pat and Lucy Riffe.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Don Riffe, two sisters, Judy (Glen) Conley and Flora (Tennis) Adams, sister-in-law, Mavis Riffe, And his special friend, Jimmy Manns.

Arland enjoyed spending time with family, gardening, riding horses, and making people laugh.

Those left to cherish his memory include two daughters, Juanita Turner and Donetta Moore; son, Arland (Wendy) Riffe Jr.; two sisters, Inis Adams and Joann Adams; five brothers, Earl (Beverly) Riffe, Leo Riffe, Cleve Riffe, David (Susie) Riffe and Lester Riffe; four grandchildren, Jamie Keyser, Shannon Moore, Cody (Makayla) Riffe and Nicholas Moore; three great grandchildren, Sadie Moore, Violet Keyser and Joanna Riffe; one special niece, Hazel (Kay) Manns; three special friends, Shorty Frye, Delana White and Paul Carter; and a host of other nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 2:00pm, Monday, April 29, 2024 at Freeman Funeral Home with Wornie Meeks officiating. Burial will follow at Riffe Cemetery, Harts, WV.

Visitation will be on Monday, April 29, 2024 from 1:00pm until 2:00pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
