Annette Dingess, 62 of Buck Fork, Chapmanville, WV, departed this life on May 22, 2021 at her residence.
She was born February 27, 1959 in Holden, WV, the daughter of the late William Jay Hensley and Rosa Jane Carter Hensley.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Thomas & Emer Hensley and Papaw & Ellen Carter, three brothers, Robert “Bob” Hensley, Carl Hensley and Murrell Hensley, three sisters, Irene Simmons, Reba & Frank Dillon and Wilma Lee & Carl Clark and her father & mother-in-law, Jim & Neary.
Annette enjoyed going to the beach, four wheeling, kayaking, spending time with her grandchildren, crafting and sewing. She loved family reunions and gatherings and cheering on her grandkids sports with her cowbell.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Alvin Dingess; three daughters, Rachel Silva, Charity Dingess and Cindy Dingess; one son, Brian & Christina Dingess; one sister, Minerva & Larry Hicks; four brothers, Naaman & Cathy Hensley, Ernie Hensley, Michael & Deadra Hensley, Mitchell & Debbie Hensley; six grandchildren, Gabriel Silva, Annabella Silva, Parker Dingess, Bryleigh Dingess, Sidnee Ferrell and Sophie Ferrell; three sisters-in-law, Fannie Hensley, Edith Hensley, and Linda Hensley; special niece and friends, Penny & Mike Garten and Steve & Tina Fowler.
Services will be held at 1:00pm, Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at Freeman Funeral Home with Rev. Manasses Hensley Jr officiating. Burial will follow at the Hensley Cemetery, Buck Fork, Chapmanville, WV.
Friends may call Tuesday, May 25, 2021 from 12:00pm until 1:00pm at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Brian Dingess, Jeremy Hensley, Zachary Hensley, Joey Hensley, Parker Dingess and Gabe Silva.
