Annabell Purkey, 91 of Logan, WV, departed this life on Saturday April 17, 2021 at her residence

She was born October 13, 1929 in Chapmanville, WV the daughter of the late Beecher and Renda Smith Pauley.

in addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William Purkey; two daughters, Gail Toth and Deborah Muncey; one granddaughter, Lethie Purkey; one grandson, Keith Muncey; one daughter in law, Elaine Purkey; two brothers, Louis Pauley, Kermit Pauley; and one sister, Verla Vinters.

Annabell was a member of Yuma Church of Christ and enjoyed spending time with her family, sewing, crocheting and crafting.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Cathy (Steve) Vankovich; one son, Bethel Purkey; three granddaughters, Tanya Purkey, Heather Collins, and Jillian Purkey-Ferrell; five grandsons, Michael Toth, Scott Muncey, Jason Toth, Matthew Toth and Christopher Toth; one granddaughter in law, Mary Muncey; nineteen great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; special friend, Donna Hicks; special son in law/caregiver, Larry Muncey; and son in laws, Steve Vankovich and Mike Toth.

Services will be held at 1:00pm, April 21, at Freeman Funeral Home with Denny Collins officiating. Burial will follow at the Highland Memory Gardens, Logan, WV

Friends may call Wednesday, April 21 from 12:00pm - 1:00pm at the Freeman Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Cody Frye, Tyler Frye, Cole Ferrell, Derek Ferell, Michael Toth, Justin Wiley, Brett Collins, and Ronnie Tomblin. Honorary pallbearers will be family and friends.
