Alma Baisden

Alma Baisden, 68 of Chapmanville, WV, departed this life on September 5, 2020 at her residence.

She was born June 3, 1952 in Kenova, WV the daughter of the late Millard & Mary Hay.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Norabelle Hay, Janie Alvord, Maggie Staley and Midred Raye and brothers, Jimmy Hay, John Doug Hay, Donald Perdue, Cliff Perdue, Herbert Hay, Russell Hay and Homer Hay.

Alma was a member of the Hilltop Freewill Baptist Church.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Mike Baisden Jr, Alma (Davie) White, Sharon (Mark) Richardson, William (Edna) Baisden, and Roy B. Marcum; sisters, Phyllis Doss, Josephine Watts, Lois Baisden, Mary Baisden, Sally Callahan; brothers, William Perdue, Herman Hay, and Bobby Hay; grandchildren, Amanda Baisden, Christina (Keith) Huffman, James (Jeri Ann) Baisden, David (Betty) Mitchem, Ty Mitchem, Dylan Baisden, Justin Baisden and Michael (Chelcie) Baisden; great-grandchildren, Gabriel and Marley Tiller, Walker Baldwin, Keaira Baisden, Addyson Mitchem, Olivia Mitchem, Braxton Mitchem, Mila and Jon Baisden.

Services will be held at 3:00 pm, Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at the Hilltop Chapel, North Fork, of Big Creek WV with Jeff Mosteller officiating. Burial will follow at the Hay-Baisden Family Cemetery, Chapmanville, WV.

Friends may call Tuesday, September 8, 2020 from 12:00 pm til 3:00 pm at the church.

Pallbearers will be James Baisden, Roy B. Marcum. Walker Baldwin, David Todd Mitchem, Michael C. Baisden, Caleb T. Turner, Justin L. Baisden, Ty F. Mitchem and Dylan M. Baisden.
