Alice Carol Wilson, 75 of Chapmanville, WV, went home to be with the Lord on February 9, 2025, at St. Mary's Medical Center in Huntington, WV.

She was born May 12, 1949, in Harts, WV, the daughter of the late Harry & Mary Ann Casto.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Peter & Alice Brewster and Dora Casto; one sister, Martha Lois Farley; four brothers, Danny Casto, Robert “Bobby” Casto, Phillip Casto and David Brewster; and her father and mother-in-law, Groash & Gracie Wilson.

Alice was a former employee of June Shoe Store. She was a volunteer at East and West Grade School for 18 years and loved all little kids. Alice was a life-long member of the Village Chapel in Chapmanville. She enjoyed spending time with her family and watching her grandchildren and great grandchildren grow up.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Ronald Wilson, Sr.; one son, Ronald Joe “Joey” Wilson Jr.; four grandchildren, Christopher (Melinda) Wilson, Michael Wilson, Ryan Wilson and Jaxton Wilson; three great grandchildren, Mallery Estep, Hailie Wilson and Hannah Wilson; five sisters-in-law, Bernice Short, Shirlene Drake, Ima Neil, Nancy Kay Casto and Joan Brewster; and two special nephews, Mark (Heather) Drake and Brian (Carolyn) Lilly.

Services will be held at 12:00pm, Monday, February 17, 2025, at Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor John E. Godby officiating. Burial will follow at the Highland Memory Gardens, Old Logan Road, Chapmanville, WV.

Visitation will be on Sunday, February 16, 2025, from 6:00pm to 9:00pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Joey Wilson, Chris Wilson, Ryan Wilson, Mike Wilson, Mark Drake and Bryan Lilly.

Honorary Pallbearer will be Bryon Damron.
