Albert Conley Jr., born on July 21, 1953, to Albert and Kathleen Conley, passed away at home on March 5, 2025.

Albert was one of seven children, adored by his brothers and sisters, Edith Frye (Willie), Norma Thacker (Ray), sisters-in-law, Rita Conley and Barbara Conley and the late Chester Conley (Julie), Howard Conley, Allen Ray Conley and Rosemary Wiley (Gene).

Albert loved the outdoors and had a passion for hunting and fishing. He spent countless vacations enjoying these activities with family and friends, always awaiting the summer months to drive the boat on the beautiful lakes of Tennessee. One of his most treasured memories was camping in Chattanooga, TN, where he and his family gathered year after year for what became an annual family reunion. These gatherings were filled with laughter, stories of the past, and catching of lots of catfish! His greatest joy was passing these traditions to his grandchildren.

As a skilled mechanic for over 40 years, Albert dedicated 35 of those years to Pepsi-Cola Bottling Company. He was also known in the area for his auto mechanical skills. Albert was a person you could always call to get your car running. Random friends often popped by to get help with car trouble or just to say hi. Whether it was a helping hand or a listening ear, Albert gave freely to others without expecting anything in return.

Albert is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 43 years, Judy Conley, with whom he shared a life full of love, laughter, and fun times. He is also survived by his children, Albert Conley III (Liliana), Melissa Jarvis (Rick), and James Anderson (Jessica), as well as his treasured grandchildren: Alisha Conley, Gospava Conley, Teodora Conley, Leilah Conley, Selene Conley, Michael Jarvis, Haley Jarvis, Caleb Anderson, and Jacob Anderson. He was also blessed with great-grandchildren, Liara and Brooklyn Damron.

Albert’s spirit will live on in the hearts of his family, his friends, and all those who knew him. He was a man of unwavering kindness, a devoted family man, and a friend to all. His memory will be honored and cherished forever.

Visitation will be on Friday, March 14, 2025 from 12:00pm until 1:00pm at the Freeman Funeral Home.

Services will be held at Freeman Funeral Home in Chapmanville, WV on Friday, March 14, 2025. At 1:00pm with Jimmy Carter officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens, Old Logan Road, Chapmanville, WV.
