Agnes Jewell Adams, 79, of Harts, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March, 31, 2021.
She was born on August 4, 1941 to the late Cecil and Tiney Jane (Bryant) Casto.
In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her beloved husband of sixty years, Eustice Adams, two daughters, Bobby Jo and Charlotte Adams, and three sisters, Bernice Browning, Betty Lou Collins and Dora “Bell” Payne.
Jewell was a retired member of the Logan County Board of Education, and a long time member of Mountaineer Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed going to church, reading her bible, spending time with her family and taking naps with her dog.
Those left to forever cherish her memory include one son, Gary Adams; one daughter, Tina Marie (Lige) Mullins; one granddaughter, Jessica Mullins; one grandson-in-law, Joshua Withrow; two special nieces, Courtnay (Peter) Mata-Van Hoorn and Angie (Sammy) Adams; two special great-nieces, Corra Mata and Violette Jo Mata; three special great-nephews, Christian Mata, Liam Van Hoorn and Chad Adams; three brothers, William “Bud” (Goldaline) Casto, Charley (Nancy) Casto and Billy Ray (Anita) Casto; two sisters, Mary Pridemore and Lois Farley; Mrs. Adams is also survived by a very special friend, Brenda Mullins and a host of other friends and family members.
Services will be held at 2:00pm, Sunday, April 4, 2021 at Freeman Funeral Home with Victor Dillon officiating. Burial will follow at the Eustice and Jewell Adams Cemetery at Harts, WV.
Friends may call Sunday, April 4, 2021 from 12:00pm until 2:00pm at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Joshua Withrow, Johnny Adams, Liam Van Hoorn, Peter Van Hoorn, Nick Mitchem and Wendell Adams.
Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
