Aaron Ward Hager “Goon”, 32 of Ranger, WV, departed this life on September 18, 2025 at Harts, WV.

He was born May 14, 1993 in Huntington, WV the son of Vanessa Hager and the late Bradley Hager.

Aaron enjoyed playing with his kids, spending time with family, riding his SXS, hunting, fishing working on cars.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bradley Hager.

In addition to his mother, those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Amber Hager; daughter, Madison Rain Hager, sons, Zander Dale Hager and Bradley Aaron Hager; his fur babies, Charlie and Gracie; special grandparents, Eugene & Bonnie Hager; grandparents, Eldon & Judy Bryant, and Katherine & Ron Koeller; sisters, Alyssa (Jay) Higginbotham and Christina “Shyane” (Sydney) Hager; brother, Nathaniel Hager; special uncle that was like a father to him, Christopher (Valerie) Hager; aunts and uncles, Mechelle (Keith) Beaty, Christina & Michael (who was like a brother to him) Brewer, Kimberly (Mike) Williams, Eddie (Tammy) Bryant, Sharon (Craig) Workman, and Mike (Tabitha) Koeller; father-in-law, Paul Hatfield; mother-in-law, Tammy (Mike) Colegrove; sisters-in-law, Kayla (Nick) Adkins and Kaylee Hatfield; brothers-in-law, Little Man (Shelby) Hatfield, and Everette Hatfield; special friend that was like a brother, Thomas Adkins; special friend, Jeff Hughes; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Services will be held at 1:00pm, Friday, September 26, 2025 at the Guyan Freewill Baptist Church with Pastor Eric “Tubby” Rakes officiating. Burial will follow at the Hager Cemetery, Ranger, WV.

Visitation will be on Thursday, September 25, 2025 from 6:00pm until 11:00pm at the church.

Pallbearers will be Thomas Adkins, Bernie Ray Adkins, Jeff Hughes, Jackie Adkins, Davey Scraggs, Jeff Headley, Tucker Adkins, Jamie Mullins, Terry Belcher and Ray Potter.

Honorary pallbearers will be Nick Adkins, Lil Man Hatfield, Chris Hager, Nathanial Hager, Jason Toppings, Stevie Miller, Jay Higginbotham, Anthony Beaty, Mikie Brewer, Todd Cooper and Buck Hager.
