Wilma June Dalton

Wilma June Dalton (nee Murray), age 70 of Elyria, passed away Friday, November 8, 2019 at University Hospital – Elyria Medical Center, following a lengthy illness. She was born June 23, 1949 in Logan, WV and had resided in Elyria since 1965.

Wilma was employed by Invacare Corp. in Elyria in the Quality Control Division with 30 years of service. She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, throwing horseshoes, and maintaining her pool for her grandchildren.

Wilma is survived by her husband of 54 years, Sidney L. " Jack" Dalton, Sr.; her children, Sidney "Joe " Dalton Jr. (wife, Beth) of Shinston, WV, Tonya Diederich (late Gary) of Elyria and Larry Dalton (wife, Jenny) of Elyria; 13 grandchildren 25 great grandchildren; a brother Ed Murray of Morgantown, WV.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Lora J. Dalton, three brothers Randal, Danny and Mike Murray and her parents, Bueal and Arlene Murray (nee Smith).

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Hannah United Baptist Church, Harts, WV at 1:00 pm Thursday, November 14, 2019, with David McCloud officiating. Burial will follow at the Frank Dalton Cemetery in Harts, WV.

Friends may call at the Church from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm Thursday, November 14, 2019.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
