William "Wild Bill" Blaine Hensley

William Blaine “Wild Bill” Hensley, 49, of Chapmanville, WV, departed this life on Friday, July 19, 2019 at Logan Regional Medical Center.

He was born May 10, 1970 in Quantico, VA, a son of Odell Hensley and the late Linda Susan Hensley.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bycle and Georgia (Carter) Hensley and William and Dorothy (Conley) Cremeans.

Wild Bill enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his Harley and spending time with his children, grandchildren, family and friends. More than anything he enjoyed making people laugh.

In addition to his father, those left to cherish his memory include his companion of eleven years, Lee Nichole Adkins; two daughters, Harlee Hensley and Alexis Adkins; two sons, Scott Hensley and Tyler Hensley; one sister, Beth (Buffy) Bearance; two brothers, Jon Hensley and Caleb Hensley; two grandchildren, Kylea and Daniel Hensley; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at Freeman Funeral Home with Jeff Hargraves officiating. Burial will follow at Hensley Family Cemetery, Harts, WV.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 from 6 – 9 pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
