William David McCloud

William David McCloud, 67, of Harts, WV, departed this life on Friday, July 19, 2019 at his residence.

He was born January 11, 1952 in Harts, WV, a son of the late Edgar and Clista (Stollings) McCloud.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Raymond, Gary and Homer McCloud, one sister, Marlene Watts, his daughter-in-law, Misty McCloud and his in-laws, LaFayette and Ada Lambert.

William was a member of the UMWA for 25 years and a member of the Freewill Baptist Church. He enjoyed going to church, and spending time with his family and grandchildren.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Margie McCloud; one daughter, Kimberly (Dale) Maynard; two sons, David and Kenneth McCloud; five adopted children, Kristin, Shae, Katelin, Kadin, and Kolton McCloud; four grandchildren, Klista, DJ and Grace Maynard, Jordan McCloud; four sisters, Vada McCloud, Geneva Spry, Carol Aldridge and Sylvia (Mose) Vance; three brothers, Hillard McCloud, Moses McCloud and George McCloud; and his special friend, Mike Houser and his mother.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at Little Harts Freewill Baptist Church with Pastor Moses Vance officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Pecks Mill, WV.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 from 6 – 10 pm at the the church.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Honorary pallbearers will be Bernie Aldridge and Tim Combs.

Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
