Vivian "Smiley" Jarrell Obituary
Vivian Mae “Smiley” Jarrell, 88, of Pecks Mill, WV, departed this life on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at her residence.
She was born May 11, 1931 in Madison, WV, a daughter of the late Oma Epling.
In addition to her mother. she was preceded in death by her companion, Calvin Miller; one son, Calvin Jarrell Jr, one granddaughter, Jennifer Fortney, one grandson, Dustin Stingel, one sister, Marie Phillips and one brother, Cecil Jarrell.
Smiley enjoyed giving and reading the bible.
Those left to cherish her memory include her four daughters, Shirley (Brian) Prince of Low Gap, Annetta (Tim) Everson of Danville, Susie (Leo) Ball of Pecks Mill and Lora (Vince) Galloway of Bellingham, Mass; two sons, Gene (Ella) Hager of Danville and Billy (Debbie) Stingel of Illinois; one sister, Gloria (Dale) Gibson of Van; two brothers, Larry (Ella) Jarrell of Foster and Red (Margie) Jarrell of Washington; nine grandchildren; and fifteen great grandchildren.
Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Thursday, October 3, 2019 at Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Vivie Marcum officiating. Burial will follow at the Danville Memorial Park at Turtle Creek.
Visitation will be on Thursday, October 3, 2019 from 11:30 am – 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
