Troy Ernest Bryant Sr

Troy Ernest Bryant Sr, 75, of Harts, WV, departed this life on Friday, March 15, 2019 at his residence.

He was born June 26, 1943 in Whirlwind, WV, a son of the late Alonzo and Weltha Bryant.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, one daughter, Liz, one granddaughter, Hopie, four brothers, Robert, Leon, Tommy and Ritchie, two sisters, Edith and Mabel, one brother-in-law, Lawrence Farley and his father and mother-in-law, Frank and Betty Faye Carter .

Troy enjoyed playing his guitar, singing, playing softball and hunting.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Betty Alice (Carter) Bryant of Buck Fork, Harts, WV; nine children, Melissa (Ricky) Strunk, Vickie (companion, Timmy Adams) both of White Oak, Wanda Bryant, Roma (Carl) Adams, Troy Bryant Jr, Vella (Lonnie) Hensley, Robin (Rodney) Adams, Alonzo Bryant all of Buck Fork and William (Cindy) Bryant of Chapmanville; two sisters, Kathaleen Farley and Martha Jarrell both of Chapmanville; one brother, Homer (Rosella) Bryant of Buck Fork; twenty-three grandchildren, Shanna (Roy) Dingess, Christopher (Ashley) Strunk, Marvin (Amanda) Dalton, James Blair, Stephanie (Millard) Adams, Nicholas Strunk, Coty Dalton, Roseanna (Casey) Sheppard, Ashley Gore, Elizabeth Adams, Sabrina Adams, Kyle Blair, Britney Adams, Casey Hensley, Paige Gore, Amber Adams, Cameron Adams, Mark Hensley, Heather Adams, Austin Bryant, Christin Bryant, Destiny Bryant, and Cali Adams; and twenty-eight great grandchildren.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at Mudfork Freewill Baptist Church with Sid Moore and Darrell Newsome officiating. Burial will follow at the Hensley Cemetery, Buck Fork, Harts, WV.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 from 6 – 10 pm at the church.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
