Thomas Lee Ferguson

Thomas Lee Ferguson, 71, of Dingess, WV, departed this life on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at his residence.

He was born February 27, 1948 in Logan, WV, a son of the late Jim and Emily Ferguson.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Marie Clay, Opal Browning and Louise Ferguson and his in-laws, Jackson and Cora Prince.

Thomas enjoyed going to church, spending time with his children, grandchildren and family.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Alice Ferguson; two daughters, Judy (John) Curnutte and Jennifer Ferguson; two sons, Jerry (Gimma) Ferguson and Matthew (Misty) Ferguson; eight grandchildren, Alexis Ferguson, Jerry Lee Ferguson, Riley Ferguson, Lucas Ferguson, Courtney Curnutte, JT Curnutte, Kiera Ferguson and Conner Ferguson; five sisters, Belvie (Doc) Coburn, Magaline (Sidney) Stroud, Earsie (Danny) Dalton, Cuba (Bernie) White and Connie (William) Stroud; and three brothers, Kenneth (Clara) Ferguson, Leslie Ferguson and Benny (Ina) Ferguson.

Services will be held at 12:00 pm, Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at the Mount Mariah United Baptist Church in East Fork of Twelve Pole, Dingess, WV with Pastor Sidney Stroud officiating. Burial will follow at the Ferguson Cemetery, Twelve Pole.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 beginning at 6:00 pm at the church.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Lee Ferguson, Riley Ferguson, Jason Ferguson, Roger Ferguson, John Curnutte and Dylan Osborne.

Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
